Machinist IV

About the role

TE is seeking an experienced Machinist IV to set up, fabricate, assemble, maintain, and test machine tools and equipment for experimental projects. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure high‑quality prototype components are produced on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate machine tools according to established machining procedures.
• Fabricate, assemble, and test prototype‑level components for product development.
• Perform quality inspections, document defects, and conduct root‑cause analysis.
• Interpret blueprints and design documents, generate toolpaths, and verify part availability.
• Monitor preventive maintenance, calibrate equipment, and ensure routine service compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of hands‑on machining experience.
• High school diploma; vocational training or an associate degree preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
