Machinist – Prototype & Production

About the role

Join TE as a Machinist where you will work on setting up, fabricating, assembling, maintaining, and testing machinery for experimental and prototype projects. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure high‑quality components are produced safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Set up machine tools and fabricate prototype‑level components according to specifications.
• Interpret blueprints and design documents to develop models and create toolpaths.
• Perform quality checks on finished products, document defects, and investigate root causes.
• Monitor preventive maintenance, calibrate equipment, and ensure routine service compliance.
• Audit parts availability and support product development from ideation to introduction.

Required profile

• Minimum 3–5 years of machining or related experience.
• High school diploma required; vocational training or an AA degree preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with diverse teams.
• Commitment to safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement.
