Maintenance Manager

About the role

The Maintenance Manager will lead the plant’s maintenance function, ensuring that all industrial equipment and facilities operate reliably and efficiently. Reporting to senior plant leadership, you will develop strategies that minimise downtime while supporting safety, quality and productivity goals in a high‑volume automotive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the site’s maintenance strategy, including preventive and predictive programmes.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise corrective maintenance, technical shutdowns and on‑call activities.
• Lead, coach and evaluate a multidisciplinary maintenance team, setting performance targets and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Analyse recurring equipment failures, develop corrective action plans and drive TPM, Lean and World Class Manufacturing initiatives.
• Participate in the installation, commissioning and start‑up of new machinery and equipment.
• Prepare and control the maintenance budget and oversee contractor interventions on site.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, Industrial, Maintenance Engineering or a related discipline.
• 7–10 years of experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing setting.
• Proven track record of managing maintenance teams in high‑volume sectors such as automotive or aerospace.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to drive continuous improvement.
