Maintenance Manager

About the role

The Maintenance Manager leads all maintenance activities to ensure safe, reliable and cost‑effective operation of plant equipment and facilities. You will supervise preventive and corrective maintenance, manage a team and budget, and drive continuous improvement while supporting equipment upgrades and new machinery projects.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and lead all maintenance processes and operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
• Track expenses and manage the maintenance budget.
• Maintain machinery to required working standards.
• Create and implement maintenance procedures.
• Conduct regular facility inspections to detect and resolve problems.
• Plan and manage repair and installation activities.
• Assign repair schedules and evaluate cost estimates.
• Document daily progress reports and maintenance logs.
• Oversee equipment stock and order supplies as needed.
• Drive maintenance improvement projects for higher reliability and lower cost.
• Contribute to new machine and equipment design and development.

Required profile

• Master's degree with a technical focus.
• At least 7 years of experience in an international industrial company.
• Proven experience leading a maintenance department.
• Ability to motivate and empower team members.
• Fluent in English and French.
