About the role

The butcher department manager is responsible for the overall performance of the meat aisle in a Carrefour hyper‑market located in Témara, Morocco. Reporting to the store management team, you will drive sales, ensure product availability, and maintain high standards of hygiene and customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of the butcher aisle, controlling margins, stock levels, productivity, waste and out‑of‑stock rates.
• Set and monitor weekly work schedules for the team, ensuring adequate coverage and efficient workflow.
• Implement the group’s commercial policy, foster customer loyalty and promote the assortment.
• Enforce hygiene and safety regulations in accordance with company standards.
• Place orders, receive deliveries and oversee inventory management.

Required profile

• Minimum Bac+2 degree in Commerce, Management or a related field.
• At least three years of experience in a modern butcher department.
• Proven ability to read dashboards and performance indicators to drive results.

• Merchandising techniques for food retail.
• Negotiation and team‑leadership capabilities.
• Analytical skills to propose improvements based on KPI analysis.
