Manager / Senior Manager – Data & Evidence Advisory

About the role

Managers at IDinsight act as trusted advisors to senior leaders in governments, foundations, NGOs and socially‑impactful businesses, providing evidence‑based counsel. They lead all phases of advisory and evaluation projects, ensuring rigorous analysis and high‑quality deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain expert client relationships, offering strategic guidance based on rigorous evidence.
• Lead project management, analytical oversight, design of evaluations, and production of policy briefs, technical reports and presentations.
• Mentor junior staff, manage timelines, quality control and risk mitigation, and foster a collaborative environment.
• Design and manage project budgets, ensure funder compliance and identify financial risks early.
• Contribute to IDinsight’s growth by refining approaches, developing new client engagements and supporting organizational development.

Required profile

• Deep passion for improving lives worldwide and interest in evidence‑based impact measurement.
• Advanced degree (e.g., public policy, economics, public administration, business).
• 4–8 years of relevant experience, including managerial responsibilities in similar settings.
• Outstanding interpersonal, leadership and communication skills with senior decision‑makers.
• Strong critical‑thinking abilities and nuanced understanding of data and evidence tools.
• Self‑starter attitude, intellectual curiosity and a sense of humour.
