Managing Director – Private Equity (Casablanca)

About the role

The firm is a leading regional private equity platform with over USD 450 million in assets under management, seeking a Managing Director to lead its Morocco operations. Based in Casablanca, you will originate deals, drive portfolio growth and shape the firm’s strategic direction across the MENA region.

Key responsibilities

• Originate and develop investment opportunities through strong business networks and market relationships.
• Lead investment evaluations, due diligences, financial analyses, valuation exercises and present to the investment committee.
• Structure and execute transactions from sourcing through closing.
• Partner with CEOs, founders and Boards to drive strategic initiatives, business transformation and growth acceleration.
• Support portfolio companies in achieving sustainable revenue growth, EBITDA expansion, operational excellence and regional expansion.
• Lead exit preparation and execution processes.

Required profile

• 15+ years of professional experience.
• 8+ years in Private Equity, Investment Banking, Principal Investments, M&A, Corporate Development or Strategy Consulting.
• Strong transaction execution experience and investment judgment.
• Proven ability to engage with CEOs, founders, boards and shareholders.
• Well‑established network across Morocco and/or the MENA region.
• Fluent in English.
