Manufacturing Engineer (Engineering Changes)

About the role

Aptiv is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join its global team working on high-compute and sensing products that drive a safer, greener and more connected future of mobility. The role ensures project management of engineering changes within the annual change model while guaranteeing project performance.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the implementation of engineering changes with the service center and link them to continuous improvement.
• Monitor changes according to schedule and standard procedures, and update feasibility reports, key dates, ECCL/DFC/IR.5 why's, BOM issues and customer complaints.
• Prepare technical documentation and keep customer and certification audits running smoothly.
• Check overtime of auxiliaries and update weekly reports on product names, MYC overview, Morocco MYC statutes, control 28, project planning, BOM review, ECCL tracker and wire length planning.
• Work with engineering, EOS, SAP, GSD-M and PFMEA system managers, revise PFMEA for engineering changes and apply required actions.
• Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, health and safety standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (Bac+5) in industrial engineering, methods, automated systems, electromechanics or equivalent.
• Fresh graduate or one year of experience in the automotive industry or a similar position.
• Good English and French.
