About the role
The Manufacturing Engineer will design, optimise and support production lines for automotive seating components, ensuring efficient, safe and high‑quality manufacturing processes.
Key responsibilities
- Layout of production line – creating and optimising using AutoCAD.
- Develop and review process flow charts.
- Conduct risk analyses (PFMEA) and manufacture feasibility studies (DFA/DFM).
- Monitor assembly processes and equipment, and implement technical changes.
- Determine operating times (MTM) and define their distribution on the line.
- Develop, implement and update technological procedures (ODS) for new and serial production.
- Set machine and equipment parameters and support continuous improvement initiatives (LEAN, KAIZEN, DO IT).
Required profile
- University degree or high‑school diploma in mechanical or industrial engineering.
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar manufacturing engineering role.
- Good command of English for communication.
- Experience with PFMEA and process feasibility analysis.
Required skills
- AutoCAD (working knowledge).
- PFMEA methodology.
- MTM time measurement system.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
