Manufacturing Engineering Technician

About the role

Hexcel is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician for its Casablanca, Morocco site. The technician will provide technical support to production, monitor manufacturing process performance, and help drive continuous improvement across composite‑material operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to production by troubleshooting and resolving manufacturing and process‑related issues.
• Monitor process performance, identify efficiency and quality improvement opportunities, and support implementation of engineering changes.
• Maintain and update manufacturing documentation such as work instructions, process flow diagrams, manufacturing routes, and bills of materials.
• Assist with new product introductions, process transfers, equipment qualification, and process validation studies.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S initiatives to enhance operational excellence.
• Conduct cycle‑time analyses and support waste‑reduction and cost‑optimization projects.

Required profile

• Technician diploma or bachelor’s degree in industrial or mechanical engineering or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in aerospace, composites, or a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken.
• Eligibility to work in Morocco.
