Manufacturing & Process Development Engineer

About the role

Join TE Connectivity’s Manufacturing and Process Development Engineering team to drive lean, high‑quality product development. You will act as the bridge between product design and manufacturing, ensuring new and transferred projects start on time and meet rigorous quality and cost targets.

Key responsibilities

• Define and control process equipment and ensure timely startup of new projects.
• Coordinate process and product validation activities.
• Maintain BOM and routine updates in SAP.
• Monitor production KPIs such as scrap rate and claims, and drive continuous improvement using LEAN tools.
• Lead cost‑reduction projects and optimize shop‑floor layout.
• Facilitate PFMEA reviews, implement findings, and follow up on actions.
• Prepare and support audits for the process department.
• Maintain comprehensive process documentation (SWI, PFMEA, PFD, R&R, process release).
• Run shop‑floor meetings (Go‑meeting, scrap meeting, etc.).
• Develop automated solutions to improve profitability and quality.

Required profile

• Engineering or Master’s degree in industrial engineering or a related field.
• 1–2 years of process engineering experience, preferably in the automotive sector.
• Familiarity with automotive core tools (APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP, 8D) and IATF 16949:2016.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
