Manufacturing Quality Engineer

About the role

Join TE Connectivity as a Manufacturing Quality Engineer and support quality assurance activities across our production sites. You will focus on real‑time defect prevention, problem resolution, and ensuring customer satisfaction through rigorous quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain customer satisfaction by meeting quality, certification, and delivery expectations.
• Deploy and monitor quality indicators and targets within the manufacturing area.
• Lead 8D problem‑solving meetings for customer claims and internal critical issues.
• Achieve and sustain IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 certifications without non‑conformities.
• Support internal and external audits and drive scrap reduction initiatives.
• Update and ensure compliance with control plans, PFMEA, and related documentation.
• Prepare and submit PPAP packages, including DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plan, PSW, etc.
• Identify and mitigate risks during project transfers or launches and capture lessons learned.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a quality role within connector, molding or cable‑assembly environments.
• Familiarity with supplier APQP processes and related tools.
• Strong presentation, communication, negotiation and coaching abilities.

Required skills

• APQP, PPAP, FMEA (including DFMEA, PFMEA), Control Plan, PSW.
• Statistical tools: SPC, MSA, R@R.
• Problem‑solving methodologies: 8D, Process Auditing.
• Basic knowledge of SAP.
