Manufacturing Quality Engineer

About the role

The Manufacturing Quality Engineer will act as the bridge between the customer site and the production plant, ensuring that quality issues are identified, communicated and resolved efficiently. You will support both production and engineering teams while promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Establish direct contact with customer‑site quality residents to identify and implement solutions for reported quality issues.
• Communicate quality issues to the manufacturing plant and participate in the preparation and review of Control Plans and PFMEA.
• Lead multidisciplinary problem‑solving meetings and monitor corrective and preventive actions.
• Organise training and awareness activities on quality‑related topics.
• Plan and conduct internal audits, manage customer complaint files using the 8D methodology, and verify the effectiveness of actions.
• Conduct daily line quality meetings, manage internal non‑conformities, and maintain quality communication boards.
• Monitor quality performance indicators such as LMQM, RPPM, DPPM and WC.

Required profile

• Engineering or Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Quality, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of quality experience, preferably in the automotive wiring‑harness industry.
• Strong knowledge of Automotive Core Tools and proficiency in both English and French.
