Marketing Operations Intern

About the role

The Global Marketing Operations Intern will support the Global Marketing Business partners for Francophone Africa & Islands. Working across both non‑digital and digital channels, the intern will help execute thought‑leadership initiatives, events, product launches, campaigns, social media and digital projects, contributing to improved customer interactions and content delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing marketing communications, including product launches, sales materials and social media content.
• Support vendor follow‑up and manage ongoing actions with suppliers.
• Coordinate events and trade shows, ensuring all materials are prepared and organized.
• Track lead flow and follow up with event attendees as needed.
• Maintain the marketing library by checking inventory and replenishing items such as brochures and corporate gifts.
• Perform data‑entry tasks, update the marketing calendar and prepare documents for mailing.
• Collaborate with team members on various marketing activities and campaigns.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, journalism, public relations or advertising.
• Basic understanding of marketing and communication practices.
• Highly organized, proactive and eager to learn.
• Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
