About the role
Hexcel is seeking a Material Planner to join its Casablanca site. The role focuses on managing raw material orders, monitoring inventory, and supporting production schedules within a leading advanced composites manufacturer.
Key responsibilities
- Receive, analyze, and confirm customer sales orders.
- Purchase goods, materials, and services while meeting cost, quality, and delivery targets.
- Manage raw‑material orders to ensure the right quantities are available at the right time.
- Monitor inventory levels, prepare yearly inventory plans, and track aged inventory.
- Prepare purchase orders and order schedules, and conduct supplier research and performance reviews.
- Generate weekly, monthly, and yearly production schedules in line with supply‑chain constraints.
Required profile
- Engineering degree in Supply Chain, Industry or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication, negotiation and critical‑thinking abilities.
Required skills
- Proficient use of MS Office.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft AX.
