Material Planner (H/F)

About the role

Centrale Danone is looking for a Material Planner in Casablanca, reporting to the Procurement Manager. The role ensures the availability of raw materials and packaging materials needed by production, while optimising inventory levels, minimising waste, protecting cash and keeping target service levels.

Key responsibilities

• Calculate material requirements from demand forecasts, inventory levels and operational constraints, and create, place and monitor purchase orders.
• Coordinate replenishment and manage the full supply process from order creation to receipt at manufacturing sites, adjusting stock for new products, promotions and business plan changes.
• Keep raw material and packaging inventory data accurate, optimise stock coverage and analyse slow-moving, obsolete and at-risk stock.
• Take part in inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies and mitigate risks related to material availability and shelf life.
• Act as the link between manufacturing sites, Procurement and suppliers, manage service claims and monitor supplier performance against KPIs.
• Ensure the integrity of planning master data (lead times, MOQs, safety stocks, MRP parameters) and the effective use of ERP and planning systems.
• Analyse consumption, stock variances and production losses to drive continuous improvement, cost reduction and waste reduction.

Required profile

• Master's degree (Bac+5) in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or an Engineering/Business School degree with a supply chain specialisation.
• APICS CPIM certification is a plus.
• 2-4 years of experience in material/supply planning, MRP or inventory management.
• Experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment, ideally FMCG or food industry with short shelf-life products, is highly valued.
• Professional French and English; Arabic is a plus.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of MRP, safety stock, MOQ, stock coverage and lead-time management.
• Hands-on ERP experience, preferably SAP MM/PP or equivalent, and planning tools.
• Advanced Excel; Power BI or other reporting tools are a plus.
• Data analysis of material consumption, inventory variances and stock turnover.
