Material Planner

About the role

Aptiv is looking for a Material Planner to join its global team that develops safety, electrification and connectivity solutions for the automotive industry. In this position you will ensure that raw materials are available at the right time and in the right quality to support high‑tech compute and sensing products.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor supplier anomalies and take corrective actions.
• Analyze weekly WIP storage to identify overstock, shortages or negative stock.
• Detect and track production, cutting or engineering anomalies that cause stock shortages and transfer cases to Key Users via the ID Tool.
• Clear orders each week to prevent overstocking.
• Monitor goods transport (pickup and arrival) and manage flow using MRP and SAP.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or Master’s in Logistics or equivalent.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Strong knowledge of logistics processes.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Advanced computer skills.
