ME Process Engineer

About the role

The ME Process Engineer will lead assembly manufacturing engineering activities focused on vision, testing and automation. You will ensure robust industrial processes, successful new product launches, and continuous improvement of manufacturing performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead vision, testing and automation process industrialization from feasibility through ramp‑up, MQ1, MQ2 and SOP ownership.
• Develop, validate and implement assembly processes according to BOP/BOE using Aptiv standards and customer requirements.
• Monitor program milestones to launch new assembly processes on time, meeting quality, capacity and profitability targets.
• Support cost calculation for new opportunities and ensure installation and release of assembly processes during transfers and capacity extensions.
• Define, maintain and optimize vision, testing and automation parameters to ensure process capability, quality and reliability.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives such as OEE improvement, cycle‑time reduction, labor‑content reduction and scrap reduction.
• Provide troubleshooting, training and root‑cause analysis for vision, testing and automation equipment.

Required profile

• Minimum Bac+4 in a technical field (electromechanics, electronics, automation, etc.).
• At least 2 years of experience with assembly processes, primarily testing & vision systems and automation.

Required skills

• Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) programming.
• TIA Portal automation software.
• Vision control systems experience (Cognex, Keyence).
• Programming languages: C#, C++, Python.
