Mechanical Drafter – CAD & Creo

About the role

Eaton is looking for a skilled Drafter to join its Casablanca team. You will translate engineering concepts into detailed 2D and 3D drawings, supporting product development and supplier collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain mechanical parts, sub‑assemblies, and full assemblies using AutoCAD and Creo.
• Produce accurate 2D and 3D drawings from sketches and engineering specifications.
• Define tolerances and critical dimensions in partnership with quality and engineering departments.
• Support the PPAP process by providing guidance to the quality team.
• Manage small projects such as part modifications, improvements, and runner projects.
• Distribute new drawings and communicate changes to internal customers.
• Interact directly with suppliers to resolve technical drawing questions.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and suppliers to validate tolerances and support automation of datasheet creation.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering field.
• 2‑5 years of drafting experience, preferably with electrical components.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); French is a strong asset.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Creo (formerly Pro‑Engineer).
• Experience in mechanical and electro‑mechanical design.
