Medical Science Liaison – Neurosciences

About the role

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) – Neurosciences will serve as the scientific bridge between Novartis and external medical experts. The role focuses on delivering accurate medical information, supporting clinical research, and fostering collaborative relationships within the neuroscience therapeutic area.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with Medical Experts (MEs) to provide up‑to‑date scientific and medical information.
• Identify and map key opinion leaders and develop strategic engagement plans aligned with country strategy.
• Respond to unsolicited medical inquiries and provide timely scientific support.
• Support Novartis clinical research programs, including trial execution and investigator‑initiated trials.
• Serve as a medical resource for field colleagues and ensure compliance with pharmacovigilance reporting.
• Distribute marketing samples where applicable and report technical complaints within 24 hours.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in medicine, pharmacy, or life sciences (MD, PharmD, PhD or equivalent).
• Experience in Medical Affairs, Clinical Research or related scientific roles in pharma or healthcare.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally and manage projects.
• Fluent in English and French.
