Metrologist

About the role

This is a full-time, on-site Metrologist role based at AIR METROLOGIE in Casablanca. The Metrologist will perform daily calibration, verification, and adjustment of measurement instruments and equipment according to established procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily calibration, verification, and adjustment of measurement instruments and equipment.
• Plan and execute laboratory tests, record and analyze measurement data.
• Ensure traceability and compliance with internal and external standards.
• Support quality control activities and investigate measurement discrepancies.
• Prepare technical reports and certificates of calibration.
• Collaborate with operations and quality teams to optimise measurement processes.
• Maintain documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong analytical skills, data interpretation, problem‑solving and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated laboratory skills, safe handling of instruments and adherence to test protocols.
• Hands‑on experience with calibration of measurement devices and understanding of calibration procedures and standards.
• Knowledge of quality control practices, inspection methods and ISO compliance.
• Relevant technical degree or diploma in metrology, physics, engineering or a related field.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and prepare clear calibration reports.
