MFG & Process Technician

About the role

As an MFG & Process Technician at TE, you will support the full manufacturing lifecycle, from machine installation to production ramp‑up, ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently. You will work closely with the production team, providing training, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement on complex automated systems.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, install, and commission new or transferred machines.
• Train production staff before and during ramp‑up phases.
• Address technical issues during pre‑serial production and drive improvements.
• Maintain machine layout compliance, update and optimise layouts.
• Conduct sampling activities and manage ramp‑up plans.
• Define and enforce Standard Work Instructions (SWI) for cameras, sensors, and dummy parts.
• Monitor and ensure adherence to process parameters and SWI.
• Participate in claim analysis, PFMEA elaboration, and Gemba walks.
• Identify and execute improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Educational degree in Mechanical or Electro‑Mechanical Technology.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in industrial manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of CAD, capacity analysis, and fully automatic/precise processes.
• Experience with automation machine programming and sensor/camera setup.
