Molding Supervisor – Injection Molding Department

About the role

The Molding Supervisor leads the daily operations of the Injection Molding Department, ensuring safe, stable and efficient production across all shifts. Reporting to senior leadership, the role coordinates with supply chain, process engineering and quality teams to meet customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Promote a Zero Incident culture, conduct safety walks and lead incident investigations.
• Coordinate daily molding operations, monitor production performance and resolve operational issues.
• Maintain process stability, oversee mold changes, and support new product introductions.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, drive scrap reduction and manage corrective actions.
• Plan preventive maintenance, monitor equipment reliability and support TPM implementation.
• Lead and coach Production Coordinators and Team Leaders, fostering technical and leadership development.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising injection molding production in an industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of safety, quality (IATF 16949) and environmental regulations.
• Ability to analyze production data, prioritize tasks and drive continuous improvement.
• Effective communication and team‑leadership skills.
