Mould Operator – Manufacturing

About the role

Magna is seeking a dedicated Mould Operator to join its Mechatronics, Mirrors and Lighting group. In this position you will operate and maintain moulding equipment that produces automotive components, ensuring high‑quality output in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate one or more moulding machines according to product specifications.
• Handle tools for trimming, flaming and inspecting parts, and adjust equipment for mould changes.
• Troubleshoot, maintain and perform minor repairs on machinery.
• Monitor material quality, adjust machine settings as needed, and follow formulation cards to mix resin batches for the injection mould process.
• Maintain inventory of materials and keep the work area clean and organized.

Required profile

• Experience operating moulding or injection mould machines.
• Ability to perform basic equipment maintenance and minor repairs.
• Strong attention to quality and adherence to safety procedures.
• Capability to follow detailed formulation cards and resin‑mixing instructions.
• Organised approach to inventory management and workplace cleanliness.
