Network and Security Engineer

About the role

Orange Business is seeking a Network and Security Engineer to design, develop, and secure international connectivity services. You will work in a multicultural environment, collaborating with sales and technical teams to deliver advanced IP/MPLS and Segment Routing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to technical design and development of global connectivity and security services.
• Define and implement IP/MPLS and Segment Routing network solutions with a focus on security.
• Deploy and manage DDoS protection services using Arbor or equivalent tools.
• Develop and automate deployment and monitoring solutions as part of the network orchestration program.
• Support sales teams during pre‑sales phases for complex solutions.
• Collaborate with multicultural teams across multiple locations.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or engineering education in a relevant field.
• Strong communication skills in English and a collaborative, proactive attitude.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a cross‑functional environment.

Required skills

• IP/MPLS network architectures and protocols (MPLS, Segment Routing, BGP, IS‑IS, Flex‑Algo).
• DDoS protection mechanisms and network security best practices (IPSec, MACSec, filtering).
• Network automation and scripting (Python, YANG, NETCONF).
• Virtualization and containerization technologies (NFV, SDN, Docker, VMware).
• Experience with vendor hardware/software (Juniper, Cisco, Netscout).
