Occupational Health & Safety Senior Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Occupational Health & Safety Senior Specialist to support top management in defining and implementing HSE policies, guidelines and management systems across our automotive manufacturing sites. The role will drive a proactive safety culture, ensure compliance with Moroccan legislation and international standards, and act as the main liaison on safety matters with clients and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Support top management in issuing HSE policy, guidelines and organizational responsibilities.
• Implement, update, review and audit the company HSE management system.
• Monitor and update safety and environmental procedures in line with legislative changes.
• Conduct internal and external safety audits, including subcontractor audits.
• Lead accident/incident investigations and provide technical support to senior management.
• Deliver in‑house safety training and prepare health and safety documentation for new tenders.
• Provide safety‑related engineering input for new projects, modifications and HAZOP meetings.
• Perform risk assessments and liaise with clients on safety issues.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of HSE experience in a manufacturing or automotive environment.
• Strong knowledge of Moroccan HSE legislation and international standards.
• Excellent analytical, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven ability to promote a proactive safety culture and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Fluent in English and French.
