Operations Coordinator

About the role

As an Operations Coordinator you will deliver first‑class customer service while coordinating complex logistics activities across marine centres, ports and third‑party suppliers. You will work closely with commercial client owners and global Maersk LNS offices to ensure seamless service delivery and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate communication with marine centres and manage relationships with husbandry agents, port operators and authorities.
• Monitor terminals and agents to reduce idle time and improve berth and crane productivity.
• Handle short‑shipment cases and special cargo operations in collaboration with terminal authorities.
• Prepare consolidation reports with accurate discharge/load data.
• Receive and control export documents from shippers.
• Manage empty‑evacuation programmes and liaise with local customs.
• Prepare documentation and follow up on port authority refunds for vessel dues.
• Deliver second seals to customers when required and coordinate recharging.

Required profile

• Good knowledge of logistics and operational processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Strong customer‑centric attitude and result‑orientation.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Team‑player mindset with a proactive, positive attitude.
• Fluent oral and written English.
