Operations Director

About the role

We are looking for an Operations Director to lead the operational activities of our newly established logistics company, which combines the expertise of a Turkish logistics group and a Moroccan logistics organization. The role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, accurate pricing, profitability and high customer satisfaction across sea, air, land, warehousing and delivery services.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all operational processes.
• Lead pricing activities in close coordination with the CEO and maintain competitive, accurate pricing through strong carrier relationships.
• Monitor profitability at shipment and customer levels.
• Lead, manage and develop the operations team.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
• Resolve operational issues independently and escalate critical matters when required.
• Coordinate financial processes with the accounting team.
• Manage DAP/DDP operations in collaboration with local partners.
• Maintain and develop carrier relationships as the key contact after the CEO.

Required profile

• 8–12 years of experience in freight forwarding.
• Strong expertise in operations and pricing.
• Proven leadership and crisis management abilities.
• Solid financial acumen.
• Fluency in French, Arabic and English.
