Operations Officer (P5)

About the role

The Operations Officer (P5) will manage the end‑to‑end visa application process, provide frontline customer support, and ensure strict compliance with operational and ethical standards. This role supports the Deputy Manager/Operations Manager in delivering World Bank projects while promoting sustainable and responsible practices.

Key responsibilities

• Scrutinize and collect visa application documents, ensuring accurate data entry and timely processing within defined Turn Around Times.
• Respond to applicant queries via in‑person, email, and telephone, informing them about value‑added services and gathering feedback.
• Handle cash and bank transactions in accordance with established procedures.
• Coordinate passport delivery logistics to consulates, applicants, and logistics partners.
• Maintain strict adherence to standard operating procedures, manuals, and compliance guidelines.
• Support the Deputy Manager/Operations Manager in executing World Bank‑related projects.
• Promote judicious use of natural resources and follow the organization’s environment, health, and safety policies.
• Follow Anti‑Bribery Management System (ABMS) roles and responsibilities as outlined in the ABMS manual.
