Operations Team Member I

About the role

The Operations Team Member I ensures the smooth flow of daily express operations, from receiving packages to updating the system for on‑time delivery. You will work closely with ground couriers, internal teams and customers to maintain high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the receiving process from ground couriers, following standard procedures and quality audits.
• Process incoming packages – weighing, coding, packing – and verify compliance with destination requirements.
• Accurately input packages into the system, handling origin scanning, bagging and manifesting.
• Monitor pre‑alerting and bagging processes according to destination specifications.
• Serve as point of contact for customer‑service issues such as on‑hold shipments, repacking, bad addresses and special requests.
• Communicate effectively with team members and external stakeholders to streamline operations.
• Control and file all related paperwork, adhering to record‑retention policies.
• Identify and report shipments containing illegal materials to ensure legal compliance.
• Support and train junior team members in operational procedures.

Required profile

• High school diploma, junior college or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in a related logistics or operations role.
• Good command of English.
• Strong attention to detail, flexibility and adaptability.
• Safety and quality awareness with a growth‑mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
