P2P Accounts Payable Junior Analyst

About the role

Swissport, a global leader in aviation services, is looking for a P2P Accounts Payable Junior Analyst for its Business Services Morocco unit, reporting to the Manager Procure-to-Pay (P2P). The role covers the timely and accurate execution of accounts payable processes for English-speaking countries, while continuously seeking improvements and supporting process improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, investigate and register/post incoming invoices, with or without a purchase order
• Ensure invoices are processed on time so payments are made on time
• Handle requests and inquiries received by mail, call and other channels, requiring English
• Interact with local PR/PO requisitioners and invoice approvers, local finance teams and local vendors
• Process and resolve vendor inquiries, escalating them when necessary
• Communicate potential issues to the team leader when needed
• Apply procure-to-pay processes, policies, procedures and internal control standards
• Contribute to continuous improvement and implement quality and process improvement projects
• Maintain positive working relationships with Business Services teams and local country stakeholders

Required profile

• Certificate of Secondary Education (minimum); university degree in Business Administration or Finance desirable
• Accounting education and a degree in Accounting are a plus
• 0-2+ years of accounting experience is a plus
• Experience in a shared service centre or business services organization is a plus
• Good written and verbal communication skills and high proficiency in spoken and written English
• Ability to work under pressure, as part of a team, and with minimal supervision to meet deadlines
