Part-time Sales Advisor – Retail

About the role

The Sales Advisor will work 8 hours per week in the Samsonite store at Westfield Shopping Centre, delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales of luggage and travel accessories. The role starts on 27 March 2026 and involves interacting with customers, maintaining store presentation, and supporting daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide product advice and demonstrations, highlighting features and benefits to create a friendly shopping experience.
• Process sales transactions efficiently, adhering to company procedures and handling cash and card payments.
• Manage customer enquiries, complaints and phone queries in a courteous and professional manner.
• Maintain store cleanliness, merchandising standards and ensure stockrooms are organized.
• Receive and check deliveries, report discrepancies and assist with stock counts.
• Support security procedures, monitor stock and cash handling, and report any issues to management.
• Handle telephone enquiries, forward orders to head office and assist with administrative tasks such as opening and closing the store.
• Attend scheduled training sessions and arrive on time for each shift.

Required profile

• Available to start on 27 March 2026 and work 8 hours per week on-site.
• Reliable, punctual and able to report any absences directly to the store manager.
• Friendly, polite and able to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Comfortable handling cash, processing transactions and using basic store systems.
• Willing to follow company policies on sales targets, promotions and after-sales service.
