Peace Advocate (Remote Volunteer)

About the role

The Peace Advocate role is a remote, volunteer position supporting the Universal Human Strategic Board’s mission to promote global peace and justice through constructive dialogue. You will work flexibly from any location, collaborating with a multicultural team to research, analyse and communicate peace‑building solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct research on peace, conflict and international relations and synthesize findings into concise briefings and reports.
• Prepare recommendations for peaceful solutions and contribute to policy‑oriented documents.
• Participate in online meetings, forums and working groups, engaging respectfully with diverse stakeholders.
• Write communications, educational materials and social‑media content to amplify the council’s initiatives.
• Assist in planning and organising virtual events, webinars and discussion panels.

Required profile

• Strong research ability and capacity to produce clear, accessible summaries.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a respectful, diplomatic approach.
• Demonstrated commitment to peacebuilding, social justice or human‑rights causes.
• Comfortable with remote work, reliable internet and basic online collaboration tools.
• Relevant academic background (e.g., international relations, peace studies, political science) is beneficial.
• Proficiency in multiple languages and prior intercultural experience are strong assets.
