About the role

We are looking for a Cost Controller to lead cost management for advanced, project or serial engineering initiatives. You will ensure cost commitments, consolidate economic data and optimise the cost‑performance ratio throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain project cost commitments, consolidating all economic elements to meet targets.
• Structure cost‑management activities according to “Job share”, “Pay share” and RASI guidelines.
• Monitor design costs to ensure optimal TPC‑Investment while balancing performance, quality, schedule and R&D expenses.
• Provide economic reporting, including TPC forecasts, expense and investment status versus targets.
• Define component cost targets for purchasing in line with global GPSC objectives.
• Develop and monitor risk and opportunity portfolios for projects and serial productions.
• Lead cost convergence plans and negotiate transformation cost contracts with manufacturing.
• Manage yearly investment and expense budgets, reporting to VEMO controlling and analysing actuals versus forecasts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Economics or related field.
• 2‑5 years of experience in cost control or project cost management.
• Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) concepts.
• Strong analytical skills and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with PLM tools.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
