About the role

ALTEN MAROC is seeking a Cost Pilot to lead cost management for advanced, project‑based or serial engineering initiatives. The role ensures that project budgets align with performance, quality, schedule and R&D objectives while maintaining an optimal cost‑to‑performance ratio.

Key responsibilities

• Define and structure cost‑management activities according to Job Share, Pay Share and RASI guidelines.
• Monitor design and engineering decisions to keep total project cost (TPC) within target limits.
• Produce economic reports, including TPC forecasts, expense tracking and investment status versus targets.
• Provide component cost targets to Purchasing in line with global GPSC objectives.
• Build and maintain a risk‑and‑opportunity portfolio throughout project and serial life cycles.
• Lead cost‑convergence plans and negotiate transformation cost contracts with manufacturing.
• Manage yearly investment and expense budgets, delivering monthly breakdowns and forecasts to VEMO controlling.
• Analyse actual costs and adjust convergence plans as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Bac+5) in Economics or a related field.
• 2‑5 years of experience in project cost management or similar roles.
• Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) concepts.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel.
• Knowledge of PLM tools.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
