About the role

As a Cost Pilot for advanced projects, you will be responsible for ensuring that each project meets its cost commitments while maintaining optimal cost‑performance ratios. You will work closely with project partners, design teams, and manufacturing to drive financial excellence throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain the project cost commitment, consolidating all economic elements.
• Structure cost‑management activities according to Job Share, Pay Share, and RASI guidelines.
• Monitor design costs to guarantee optimal TPC‑Investment relative to performance, quality, schedule, and R&D expenses.
• Provide regular economic reporting, including TPC forecasts, expense status, and investment tracking.
• Define component cost targets for Purchasing in line with global GPSC objectives.
• Develop and monitor risk and opportunity portfolios for both project and serial life phases.
• Lead cost‑convergence plans, negotiate transformation cost contracts with manufacturing, and manage Make‑and‑Buy investment contracts.
• Prepare yearly investment and expense budgets, produce monthly breakdowns, and analyse actuals versus forecasts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Economics or a related field.
• 2‑5 years of experience in project cost control or financial analysis.
• Strong analytical mindset, rigor, creativity, and curiosity.
• Team‑oriented attitude with a passion for service‑oriented professions.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel.
• Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
