Planning Engineer

About the role

Norm Fasteners Morocco is seeking a Planning Engineer to develop and maintain optimal production plans that align with company strategy and resource availability. The role works closely with Sales, Production, Purchasing and other functions to ensure timely delivery of customer orders.

Key responsibilities

• Create and update daily and weekly production schedules based on demand, capacity, machine efficiency and material availability.
• Analyse constraints, identify bottlenecks and propose corrective actions to keep production on track.
• Communicate plans to production units and monitor execution against targets.
• Coordinate with Sales, Quality, Purchasing and other departments to align demand and supply.
• Support new‑product launches by evaluating capacity and resource needs.
• Track and follow up on delayed orders, minimizing delivery risks.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Industrial or Production Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of planning experience, preferably in automotive or fasteners manufacturing.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Fluency in French and English.
• Willingness to work in Tangier, Morocco.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
