Plant Manager – Automotive Manufacturing

About the role

The Plant Manager will lead an automotive manufacturing site, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and delivering sustainable profitability. You will be responsible for the overall performance, safety culture, and continuous improvement of the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute plant strategy, set KPIs and monitor their achievement.
• Lead financial performance, including budgeting, cost control and profitability.
• Drive operational excellence through Lean, Kaizen and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with automotive standards, legal requirements and internal policies.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction by guaranteeing reliable delivery and product quality.
• Act as the central interface with OEM customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Manage escalations, risks and corrective actions across the value chain.
• Authorize production stops or shipments when safety or quality risks arise.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in automotive manufacturing, including leadership roles.
• Proven track record in plant management and high‑volume production environments.
• Strong analytical, decision‑making and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Excellent communication skills in English; French or Arabic are a plus.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
