Portfolio Results Advisor

About the role

Save the Children International is seeking a Portfolio Results Advisor to strengthen the reporting and learning systems for its Sponsorship programmes worldwide. The role will support country teams in generating high‑quality data on child outcomes and ensure accountability to donors and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance on Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) to country offices and Sponsorship teams.
• Manage the global Community of Practice for Sponsorship learning, facilitating knowledge exchange and best‑practice sharing.
• Develop and maintain tools, templates and guidance for Total Reach and Sponsorship Annual Reports, ensuring appropriate disaggregation.
• Lead global learning initiatives that generate evidence on inequality, discrimination and child impact across the organisation’s Breakthroughs.
• Oversee the evaluation pipeline (baseline, midline, endline) and synthesize findings with the Research and Evaluation Unit.
• Identify MEAL capacity gaps and design capacity‑building programmes for staff and programme managers.

Required profile

• Proven experience in MEAL, results‑based management or programme evaluation within humanitarian or development contexts.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills for working with diverse, multi‑regional teams.
