Portfolio Results Advisor

About the role

Save the Children International is seeking a Portfolio Results Advisor to strengthen reporting and learning across its Sponsorship programmes. The role will support country teams, lead global learning initiatives, and ensure robust accountability for child‑focused results.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a high‑quality reporting system for Sponsorship programmes, including Total Reach and Annual Reports with required disaggregation.
• Provide country‑specific MEAL technical assistance and manage the Community of Practice for learning.
• Lead global learning initiatives to generate evidence on inequality and discrimination, synthesising findings across the organisation’s Breakthroughs.
• Oversee the evaluation pipeline (baseline, midline, endline) and collaborate with the Research and Evaluation Unit.
• Identify capacity gaps in MEAL staff and programme managers, and design tools, guidance and learning programmes to address them.
• Ensure strong accountability mechanisms are in place for all Sponsorship activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) within humanitarian or development contexts.
• Ability to work collaboratively with global and country teams.
• Strong analytical mindset and experience managing evaluation processes.
• Eligibility to work in the assigned location for the contract duration.
