Postdoctoral Researcher in Process & Chemical Engineering

About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher in Process‑Chemical Engineering to join the Chemical & Biochemical Sciences Green Process Engineering Department (CBS) at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University. The role focuses on experimental, modelling, simulation and optimisation of chemical processes with an emphasis on sustainability and green chemistry.

Key responsibilities

• Design and conduct laboratory experiments to investigate chemical and biochemical reactions.
• Develop and validate advanced process models integrating experimental data with computational tools.
• Perform simulation and optimisation studies to enhance process efficiency and environmental performance.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary research teams and contribute to scientific publications.
• Present findings at conferences and internal seminars.

Required profile

• PhD in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Strong research background in experimental and modelling work.
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
