Postdoctoral Researcher – Non‑Thermal Plasma Hydrogen Production

About the role

We are seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher to develop innovative non‑thermal plasma methods for hydrogen (H₂) production. The work will involve both plasma‑only and plasma‑catalyst approaches to enable sustainable hydrogen generation at low temperature and atmospheric pressure.

Key responsibilities

• Design and operate non‑thermal plasma reactors for hydrogen production.
• Investigate the role of plasma‑generated reactive species and catalytic materials.
• Perform experiments, collect and analyse data on hydrogen yield and process efficiency.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members from chemistry, physics and engineering.
• Publish research findings in peer‑reviewed journals and present at conferences.

Required profile

• PhD in Plasma Physics, Chemical Engineering, Energy & Sustainability or a related discipline.
• Experience with plasma processes and hydrogen generation technologies.
• Ability to work in an interdisciplinary research environment.
