The Applied Chemistry and Engineering Research Center of Excellence (ACER‑CoE) at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University seeks a Postdoctoral Researcher to advance non‑thermal plasma‑based hydrogen production. The candidate will explore innovative plasma‑driven pathways for sustainable H₂ generation, both with and without catalytic materials.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate non‑thermal plasma reactors for hydrogen production experiments.
• Investigate the influence of plasma‑generated reactive species on reaction mechanisms.
• Conduct systematic studies with and without catalysts to assess performance.
• Collect, process, and analyze experimental data using appropriate diagnostic tools.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members across chemistry, physics, and engineering.
• Prepare scientific reports, conference presentations, and peer‑reviewed publications.

Required profile

• PhD in Plasma Physics, Chemical Engineering, Energy Science, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated experience with plasma processes and hydrogen production research.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
