Process Engineer – Injection Molding

About the role

The Process Engineer will join the Tangier plant to develop, optimise and maintain injection‑moulding processes. You will work closely with production, quality and maintenance teams to ensure high‑quality output, efficiency and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and refine moulding parameters to reduce cycle time, scrap and improve product consistency.
• Support new mould introductions, validate tooling and troubleshoot mould‑related issues.
• Create specifications for injection moulding machines, automation and peripheral equipment.
• Assist operators with machine setup, adjustments and problem‑solving during production runs.
• Implement scientific moulding principles to meet customer specifications and minimise defects.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing, Six Sigma and process standardisation.
• Prepare and maintain process sheets, work instructions and technical reports.
• Collaborate with R&D designers, laboratory testers, quality and supply‑chain teams for new product launches and ongoing production.
• Apply over‑moulding expertise to ensure proper adhesion, material compatibility and product performance.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical, Industrial or Plastics Engineering.
• 4+ years of experience in injection moulding (automotive, electronics or packaging preferred).
• Strong knowledge of scientific moulding principles and polymer processing.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot moulding machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma and SPC tools.
• Effective communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
