Process Engineer

About the role

Aptiv is seeking a Process Engineer to design, validate, and implement automated testing and vision inspection systems for automotive manufacturing lines. You will work on cutting‑edge technologies that improve cycle time, accuracy, and reliability while supporting the company’s mission of safer, greener mobility.

Key responsibilities

• Design, validate, and deploy automated testing and vision inspection equipment for production lines.
• Develop testing methods for mechanical, electrical, and functional product validation.
• Optimize cycle time, accuracy, and reliability of testing and vision processes.
• Create preventive maintenance plans for testing and vision systems.
• Specify, select, and validate equipment and software, collaborating with suppliers for integration.
• Train production and quality teams on equipment usage and troubleshooting.
• Ensure testing systems meet customer and internal requirements and support root‑cause analysis for quality issues.
• Maintain traceability of inspection and testing data.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in the automotive sector.
• Specific knowledge of cutting‑crimping processes is a plus.
