Process Engineer

About the role

Join Aptiv’s manufacturing team in Tangier to design, validate, and implement automated testing and vision inspection systems for automotive production lines. You will contribute to improving cycle time, accuracy, and reliability while supporting the company’s mission of safer, greener mobility.

Key responsibilities

• Design, validate, and deploy automated testing and vision inspection systems, and develop testing methods for mechanical, electrical, and functional validation.
• Optimize cycle time, accuracy, and reliability of testing and vision processes; create preventive maintenance plans and propose continuous‑improvement projects.
• Specify, select, and validate equipment and software; collaborate with suppliers to integrate new testing and inspection systems.
• Ensure testing systems meet customer and internal requirements, support root‑cause analysis for quality issues, and maintain traceability of inspection data.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in the automotive sector; background in cutting‑crimping processes is a plus.
