Procurement Officer

About the role

Allianz Services, part of Allianz Group, is looking for a Procurement Officer. The role delivers efficient and compliant sourcing and contracting aligned with Allianz Group Procurement standards and strategy, supporting business stakeholders through end-to-end Source-to-Contract processes, supplier management and procurement governance. It works closely with local business units and the Global Procurement team and reports to the Procurement Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end sourcing, including RFQs/RFPs, supplier evaluation, negotiations and contract award.
• Create, maintain and manage contracts in Ariba S2C, ensuring compliance with procurement, legal and internal policy requirements.
• Act as the primary procurement partner for business stakeholders, understanding their needs and developing sourcing strategies.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities, analyse spend data and implement procurement best practices.
• Ensure compliance with Allianz Global Procurement Standards, support audits and collaborate with Global Procurement on process harmonization and digital transformation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, contract management or purchasing.
• Experience managing end-to-end Source-to-Contract processes, including supplier negotiations and contract administration.
• Strong knowledge of procurement governance, sourcing methodologies, contract management and supplier lifecycle processes.
• Experience in spend analysis and cost optimization is an asset; interest in IT and Generative AI is also welcomed.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with procurement platforms such as SAP Ariba S2C or similar systems.
• Sourcing, negotiation and contract administration.
