Product Operation Engineer

About the role

STMicroelectronics is seeking a Product Operation Engineer to lead local Material Review Board (MRB) activities for Power and Discrete (P&D) products. You will ensure manufacturing operations meet quality, cost, and delivery standards while supporting continuous improvement across teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage local MRB processes for P&D products, report MRB KPIs and drive corrective actions.
• Lead committees reviewing non‑conforming materials and provide product expertise to meet delivery schedules.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve quality, yield, and cycle time.
• Support product and process engineering activities, ensuring alignment with overall strategy.
• Analyze MRB top detractors and electrical data, produce regular reports, and implement improvements.
• Coordinate with STS Back‑End engineering on methodology, lot concerns, and problem‑solving solutions (e.g., TPAK, T2PAK).

Required profile

• Engineer or Master’s degree in Electronic Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, test development, or quality.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing flows and semiconductor products such as SiC, IGBT, Power MOS, diodes, and power packages/modules.
• Familiarity with quality tools (8D, FMEA, SPC) and a solid quality mindset.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
