Production Coordinator (Wipers Activity)

About the role

Valeo is looking for a Production Coordinator to lead the Wipers activity on its manufacturing floor. You will be responsible for organizing training, managing daily operations, and driving continuous‑improvement initiatives in a fast‑paced automotive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage induction, training plans and flexibility grids for new and existing team members.
• Monitor absenteeism, safety compliance and environmental risk analyses on a daily basis.
• Validate operator times, enforce standard stops and ensure work instructions are up‑to‑date.
• Drive APZ objectives, lead safety QRQC, and coordinate weekly headcounts to meet SQCDM and inventory targets.
• Analyze equipment performance, cycle times and micro‑stoppages; implement TPM tools such as red tags and first‑level maintenance.
• Conduct annual performance appraisals, salary reviews and on‑the‑job training sessions.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain to guarantee adherence to the Master Production Schedule.
• Lead Kaizen, 5S, Hoshin and other VPS workshops, and manage the APZ budget.

Required profile

• Mechanical or industrial engineering degree.
• More than three years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Motivation to learn, take initiative and question existing practices.
• Strong sense of ownership and teamwork, even in a messy environment.
• Fluent in English.

Required skills

• TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) methodology.
• 5S, Kaizen and continuous‑improvement tools (PDCA, FTA, 5 Whys).
• Master Production Schedule (MPS) coordination.
• SQCDM performance monitoring.
• Equipment performance analysis and micro‑stopage reduction.
