Production Supervisor

About the role

The client, a global automotive manufacturer, is establishing a new plant in Tangier and needs a Production Supervisor to support the launch. You will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient and high‑quality production while meeting delivery and productivity targets.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities, coordinate resources, manpower and equipment, and monitor schedules to ensure timely execution.
• Lead, coach and motivate operators and team leaders, manage recruitment, onboarding and performance evaluations.
• Promote Lean Manufacturing, drive continuous‑improvement projects, and support root‑cause analysis and process optimisation.
• Ensure compliance with quality, health, safety and environmental standards, and maintain accurate production documentation.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification.
• Proven experience supervising production teams in automotive or high‑volume manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of production planning, manufacturing processes and quality systems.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and experience with ERP and production‑planning tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication and decision‑making abilities.
